Sharon Ann Thom brings over 24 years of experience within Hawai‘i’s development, design and construction industries. She is currently Schnackel Engineers’ Vice President of the Pacific Region, and has helped open and establish the company’s newest office location in Honolulu.
As a respected leader in Hawai‘i, Thom was recognized in 2015 by Pacific Business News as a finalist in the for-profit category for Businesswoman of the Year. In addition, Hawai‘i Business Magazine named her as one of the 20 for the Next 20 in 2014.
Thom previously worked as Vice President, Hawai‘i Area Manager of Kiewit Building Group Inc., and has worked with the City & Council of Honolulu as Deputy Director of Department of Transportation Services and General Growth Properties, Inc. as Director of Construction, Hawai‘i Region. She currently serves as an active board member for March of Dimes, and serves as the chair of the Waikiki Community Center facilities committee.
Thom is a graduate of the Mid-Pacific Institute and holds a BS in Psychology and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Santa Clara University in California.
