After a career in the construction industry, Mel joined Schnackel Engineers in 1993, where he spent some time as Director of Plumbing Engineering before taking on the position of Director of Operations. His unique background offers a keen perspective into the flow of projects through the office, ensuring the delivery of the highest quality
and standards and the Schnackel mantra of total client satisfaction on each project.

Mel received an Associate of Applied Science degree in Architectural Engineering Technology from Southeast Community College in Milford, NE in 1993. His interests include riding his motorcycle, wood working and spending time with his family.
