Matthew has been involved in the design of many types of retail and commercial projects including mixed-use development, retail stores, malls, restaurants, offices and more for over 10 years.
As Director of the Pacific Region, Matt oversees all client communications, team and external meetings, review of contract documents, budget confirmation and project milestones throughout his region. Prior to joining Schnackel Engineers, Matthew worked as a HVAC and Plumbing installer adding valuable, practical field experience to his leadership and MEP engineering skills.
Matthew’s most notable projects include, Downtown Summerlin in Las Vegas, Nevada and the Ala Moana Center Ewa Expansion Mall in Honolulu, Hawaii.
Matthew received an Associate of Applied Science in Architectural Engineering from Southeast Community College Milford, NE.
When Matt's not in the office, he enjoys spending time outside in nature hiking, camping, fishing, paddle boarding and spending time at the beach.
