      • 2023: ENR California Announces 2023 Best Projects Winners – Children’s Institute Inc., Watts Campus Los Angeles receives Award of Merit – Interior/Tenant Improvement
      • 2017: Schnackel Engineers was part of the team that was presented with two awards at the ICSC US Design & Development Award Program. Projects included the Ala Moana Center, which won the Gold Award for Renovations/Expansions and Liberty Center that won the Silver Commendation Award for New Development.
      • 2016: Schnackel Engineers is proud to be part of the design team that designed Starbucks at Highland & Willoughby in Los Angeles, which received a 2016 Sustainable Innovation Award at USGBC-LA’s 12th Annual Green Gala on November 10th. Congratulations to our Energy Team and Teams C and D! Nicely done!
      • 2008: The US Green Building Council awards Yum! Brands’ E3 Project, a Taco Bell and KFC combination located in Northampton, MA, LEED Gold Certification. Their first, now sets precedence for future Yum! Green Initiatives all over the world. With Chipman Adams Architects, Inc.
      • 2008: Schnackel Engineers was an integral part of the design team with Callison Architecture on the Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center Remodel project in Honolulu, HI. The shopping center and multi-use facility was recently awarded the Retail Traffic Superior Achievement in Design and Imaging (SADI) Award which recognizes outstanding achievement in creating beautiful and successful retail environments, and putting the magic back in shopping.
      • 2008: The US Green Building Council awards LEED Silver Certification, LEED Retail Volume Prototype for Commercial Interiors to Wachovia Bank. The pre-certification will allow Wachovia/Wells Fargo to efficiently pursue LEED ratings for multiple properties that follow the building systems specifications and criteria set forth by Schnackel Engineers in the current prototype.
      • 2008: The US Green Building Council awards LEED Certification, LEED for Commercial Interiors to Coldwater Creek’s Twenty Ninth Street Location in Boulder, CO – with Callison Architecture and Coldwater Creek.
      • 2006: International Council of Shopping Centers, International Design & Development Award for Innovative Design and Development of a New Project – Jordan Creek Town Center, West Des Moines, IA – 1.34 Million square feet – with Callison Architecture.
      • 2002: AIA Nebraska, A Society of the American Institute of Architects Honor Award, 2002 – O’Keefe Elevator Company Office Design, Omaha, NE – with Avant Architects.
      • 2000: International Council of Shopping Centers, International Design & Development Certificate of Merit for Innovative Design and Construction of a New Project – Coral Ridge Mall, Coralville, IA – 1.2 Million square feet – with Hammond Adamson Design Group – Architect.
